Services

At Lauren Tye Legal we represent a wide range of clients, including young people, professionals and well-known individuals, for whom a criminal investigation can have devastating reputational, personal, financial and professional consequences.

Contacting us as soon as you become aware of a police investigation increases the opportunity to resolve the matter quickly and discreetly. The police interview is often the most significant aspect of a criminal case. In some cases, we may be able to avoid your arrest and protect you from potentially onerous bail conditions. Where arrest is unavoidable, we are experienced police station advisers available 24 hours 7 days a week to carefully guide you through this daunting process.

In the event you are charged, we examine every detail of the evidence, putting the prosecution to proof to ensure the best possible result. This often includes working alongside some of Melbourne’s leading barristers and expert witnesses. This approach can see charges withdrawn before you ever get to court. In the event a plea of guilty cannot be avoided, we advance your personal circumstances and mitigation to maximise the chances of the most lenient sentence.

Lauren Tye Legal appears in all jurisdictions and acts in all criminal matters from driving charges, thefts, assaults and drug offences to fraud and homicide.
